Our Missions

 

Psalm 67 calls on the nations to praise the King of kings and to be glad in their God. It is our desire to see the peoples of the earth know the only true God through Jesus Christ and fall down in joy-filled, Spirit-wrought worship. Providence is seeking to reach the nations with the message that Christ is all in all. This is the good news – Christ the all-sufficient Redeemer and Lord. We support the advance of the gospel at home in Northwest Florida and abroad through the labors of the church around the world,

Waterfront Rescue Mission in Pensacola, Florida seeks to “Demonstrate God’s goodness by providing rescue and recovery services in Jesus’ Name.”   Providence not only provides financially but by assisting through preaching.

 

Safe Harbor Women’s Resource Center in Pensacola, Florida is committed to providing counsel, assistance and personal support to women and their families who are facing untimely or crisis pregnancies. Providence not only provides financially but also raises additional funds for specific programs.

The Joint Eastern European Project (JEEP) strives to help North American congregations spend their mission dollars wisely and connect them with the dedicated saints and the Church’s growth in Eastern Europe.

 

Providence Church planted a CREC congregation in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 2015. Igreja de Cristo (Christ Reformed Church) is a member church of Athanasius Presbytery.
